Position Description
We are seeking a head coach for our U14B boys team (combined 7th and 8th graders). The role would include 2 practices a week at Merritt College in Oakland starting 1/15/17 - 5/15/17 and 12 weekend games running from 2/27/17 - 5/15/17. All of these boys are intending to play in high school, so an understanding of both fundamental skills as well as field IQ is critical for success. We are looking for someone who can incorporate practice planning, game planning (lineups), and still make it fun for the kids.

We are offering this role in conjunction with a paired mentorship with any professional interest - perfect for a college student or a recent graduate. We have a large set of parents with varying professional backgrounds who have offered to mentor coaches looking for additional exposure to potential careers.

Position Description
Napa Junior Lacrosse Association (Napa Force) seeks a head coach for their girls high school team. Season begins in late January 2017 and runs through mid May. Practice at the coach's discretion (usually three per week), with two round robin style games on the weekends from early March through early May. There is a stipend for the position, beginning at $2,500.

The Napa Junior Lacrosse Club (NJLC) is a volunteer based organization whose goal is to provide the youth of Napa Valley and surrounding area an opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. It provides athletes from all walks of life an environment that nurtures a common interest in fostering the game of lacrosse, and the opportunity to build life long friendships.

The NJLC provides players with a positive, fun and exciting experience that builds character and success. It accomplishes this by fostering commitment, good work ethic, team play and a positive attitude. We believe that winning is a byproduct of individual and team growth, and character development.

The NJLC is a member of the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association.

Sacramento Lacrosse seeks a Boys Varsity High School Head Coach for Spring 2017. With 13 public high schools in the San Juan and Sacramento City Unified School Districts, and additional bordering high schools, Sacramento Lacrosse has the unique opportunity to impact hundreds of kids.

Sacramento Lacrosse fielded its first boy's high school team in 2015. Contributing players represented six area high schools (El Camino, Del Campo, Mira Loma, Rio Americano, McClatchy, and Grant).

Ideal candidates will have a college lacrosse background, a passion for the game, and solid leadership and motivational skills.

Practices (starting in late January) are generally held three days a week (afternoon/evening) with games held on weekends. Games start in March and run through mid-May.
