Position Description Duties include:
Coaching Operations including hiring and terminating all coaching staff ; provide supervision and direction for all coaches and assistants at each level; ensure that all coaching staff has met the minimum safety requirements and trainings established by US lacrosse; work with other coaches to schedule practices; establish standards for practice plans; provide motivational activities for athletes; formulate, enforce, and educate parents and players on a Code of Conduct; assess players requesting to play at a different level; conduct regular coaching meetings including pre-season, in-season, and post-season reviews including a post-season written evaluation; and responsible for fulfilling any and all substitute coaching roles.
Administrative duties include help to schedule games and competitive events for ALL Rebels teams; work with the Board of Directors and Boosters to promote fundraising efforts and related team/club activities; must plan and manage lacrosse clinics, play days, laxapalooza, and any other off-season programing; work toward CIF; recruit athletes to the program; monitor equipment for coaches and teams; attend all NCJLA scheduled meetings, NorCal Chapter meetings, team sanctioned events and/or coaches clinics throughout the year; report to the Board of Directors.
Payment Compensation base is $5,000 annually with commission opportunity. Commensurate with experience. Applications review will begin June 8th. Position open until filled.
